Homes of Hope for Children (H.H.C) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2017. Officially recognized under ministerial order 530/1412 on July 18, 2019, H.H.C aims to support children and families in both normal and crisis situations, with a particular focus on empowering women.

The organization’s mission is to promote a safe environment for children, safeguarding them against all forms of violence as outlined in Article 19 of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CIDE). H.H.C aspires to be a leader in community strengthening through effective women’s empowerment initiatives.

Objectives

What We Do

We Protect Children

We prioritize the safety and well-being of children through initiatives such as family reunification, support for vulnerable families, and responses to crises like flooding.

We Empower Women

We focus on the economic and social empowerment of women by creating and supporting solidarity groups, which helps ensure the protection of children within their families.

We Advocate and Raise Awareness

We engage in studies and initiatives to raise awareness about issues like online sexual exploitation and participate in sectoral groups to address gender-based violence (GBV).

We Provide Mentorship

We offer mentorship programs for children, especially during holiday periods, to support their personal development and ensure they have positive role models in their lives.

We Facilitate Family Reunification

We work diligently to reunite children living on the streets or those who are separated from their families, ensuring they have a safe and supportive home environment.

We Respond to Emergencies

We actively respond to crises, such as natural disasters, by providing immediate assistance and resources to affected communities, helping them recover and rebuild their lives.
